Project Delivery

We are passionate that our advice should lead to reductions in emissions, and so we help deliver low carbon projects by obtaining funding, specifying the requirements and project managing the implementation.

Your partner from concept to delivery

For the past thirty years, we have been delighted to see our reports turn into projects. From primary school lighting through to large-scale solar energy, we have gone beyond the report to help clients make significant reductions in their energy costs and carbon emissions.

We start with proposing the most appropriate scheme that is practical to implement, provides value for money and can be delivered on time and to budget. This is important as many schemes are oversized or impractical, meaning that better schemes may be starved of investment.

We then review options for funding, whether it be our own funds, capital grants, loans or leases. We are adept at completing funding applications and can provide all the technical details and savings analysis required.

Our experience extends to producing technical performance specifications, invitations to tender/quote and recommendations based on submissions. Once on site, we will act as client agents to ensure the installation is to specification and to handle any requested changes to the scope.

He brought together a complex energy saving scheme… and delivered it on time and on budget. He exceeded my expectations, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Case Study 1: Community Wind Project

Wind Turbine at Poppleton Tigers Sports Club

It’s not always the largest projects that delight us. We are always happy to help with decarbonising community buildings.

One such project was Poppleton Tigers sports club, which wanted a low-carbon source of energy for their new clubhouse.

A small-scale wind turbine was identified, and we helped obtain grant funding, dealt with planning applications and saw it through to implementation.

Case Study 2: Decarbonising Visitor Attraction

Tropical World in Leeds

Tropical World in Leeds houses the largest collection of tropical plants outside of Kew Gardens, as well as butterflies and small animals.

We designed and project-managed the replacement of their old heating system with a low-carbon system coupled with energy-efficient controls. This was all implemented within a tight shutdown period and was operational ahead of schedule.
